Adventists, who are we?

Adventism in Ukraine dates back to the time when the search for God began to appear, which arose in Russia in the fifteenth century and during the Reformation, which swept through Europe a century later. The active formation of Adventist doctrine in the world began in the first half of the XIX century among the followers of various Christian churches waiting for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Believers who had this hope united in 1863 into a world-wide Adventist church organization.

• The first Adventist communities in Ukraine arose in Crimea in 1886. Their development was accompanied by considerable difficulties, arrests and repressions. However, despite all the harassment, with the advent of democratic change in society, the Church was revived and a new stage in its development began.
• Today in the world there are about 25 million Adventists in more than 200 countries.
• The Seventh-day Adventist Church tirelessly carries the message of salvation to all the inhabitants of the Earth, giving hope for a happy life with the Lord to anyone who wants it.
