Ministry

When a person seeks happiness for himself, he looses, because selfishness ruins people. Anybody who cares about others, doesn`t make happy only that people and even himself. This is why God calls us: "Doesn`t take care everyone only about yourself, but takes care everyone about others." (Philippians 2: 4)

Why do we like to help so much?

Do you remember that wonderful feeling when someone helped? It becomes pleasant and warm to the soul that they have provided help to those who need it. At such times, you understand that your own problems are not so great and there are people who are much more difficult. Realizing that only mi can help, there is an extraordinary desire to do it. In service, a person finds joy and peace. The desire to help is inherent in us from birth. Giving a man love and attention, we receive incomparably more than we give. People who are looking for joy and happiness only for themselves, very soon become disappointed in life, and not finding true happiness.

Love your neighbor as yourself

What can inspire us to serve?

In this world we are striving for much, for new purchases, for a place in society, for fame, for money. But when people sum up the life, they usually do not complain that they did not buy a new iPhone, or that they earned little money. At this time they regret that they did not have enough time with their relatives and friends, did not communicate much, did not help people who needed their help. After all, the true joy of a person is not in gadgets and not in the amount of wages, but how much you can influence and help others, make their life better, happier. Those people who realize this, as a rule, have a brighter, fuller, more saturated, emotional and spiritual life. Such people have a purpose, meaning, because they invest not in the earth, quickly lost, but in the eternal: in a relationship with God and other people. After all, God's Kingdom is the abode for those who truly want to become its inhabitant and not only pursue the blessings of our sinful land:

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 6:19-21

Jesus received real pleasure in service, His love healed so many tortured hearts, He suffered for us, to save from sin and to give peace. What can be compared with His love and sacrifice? We, as His children, feel a deep love for the Savior, and we long to express some gratitude. We try to alleviate the suffering of others and give the same hope that we have, remembering what God has done for us. It is not only the heart's response to God's love, but the fulfillment of His will:

If you love Me, keep My commandments!

John 14:15

God's law is love:

For the whole law is in one word: love your neighbor as yourself

The Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Galatians 5:14

What does it mean to love yourself, I think, everyone knows. And what about the same love for all people?

Living here and now, we can already experience the joy of serving people and God. Those who believe in the Lord and fulfill the will of the Heavenly Father, the Savior will reward and solemnly call to himself:

...come blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world

Matthew 25:34

Cast aside doubts. God knows that we can sincerely love, trusting our lives to Heavenly Father. We are called to make our lives better by supporting and inspiring others.
