But health is the bridge that leads us to all dreams. He who cares about his health, is full of energy and strength, such a person is ready to translate all his desires and goals into reality.

Even with the creation of man, God announced the laws of health, which are wrote in the Bible and lead to a happy life. Divine laws, including the laws of health, are not at all accidental, but they are meant for us to enjoy a full life. Recent studies have confirmed this, showing that, compared to the rest of the population, Adventists are less prone to most common diseases and live longer for 5-12 years.

The real desire to be healthy comes from that Source, that wants to make our life complete, valuable and useful for others. It is God who fully reveals the potential of those who responds to His tender love, and share it with their fellow men.

We believe that through our consciousness we interact with the heavenly, the divine, and that is why we, as Adventists, try to keep our body healthy, active, and vigorous.

We do not smoke and drink alcohol for this reason, despite the fact that Adventists live on average longer and are less sicker, our goal is not this.

The main goal is to keep our consciousness clean for as long as possible, preferably until the end of life, so that we can keep in touch with God. After all, every Christian is a temple intended for the habitation of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). We guard our body to be worthy of the presence of God, to hear His voice to us and live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Nutrition
How do you plan to live your life? And what about your today’s lifestyle, diet? According to statistics, 2/3 of the illnesses appear as a result of malnutrition. Are you planning a stroke in 40 years, obesity, osteoporosis, constant fatigue, or elemental rest? If you do not like such a perspective – it’s time to take care of yourself. The following tips will help you in this: refuse from fast food, in such food a lot of fat, sugar and carbohydrates; enough to overeat! When we eat more than what is needed in our body, all organs work in an intensive mode; be sure to have breakfast – this is the most important meal, but dinner should be very easy; eat as much vegetables as possible, fruits and other vegetable food. This is the diet God gave to man even in creation.
Physical activity
How do you feel about excess weight, diabetes and high blood pressure? Yes, these problems concern many of us … And how about the fact that lack of movement has become one of the quiet killings, and overweight kills more people than hunger? So is not it time to get up from the couch, turn off the TV, computer and just walk around the whole family? How about long forgotten sports games with friends and family? It’s not only fun, but also useful! We should forget about the elevator and enjoy a lift to our house on the steps, as if it is on top of a mountain. Let our charity be complete: enough to spend your evenings for endless snacks and entertainment. It will bring happiness and joy to everyone, and no depression, diabetes or obesity will threaten you, because you will live according to the laws of your body.
Water

Already guessed? Of course it’s water! If we eat it in sufficient quantity, we will feel more cheerful, and also lose weight, because we often confuse thirst with hunger and therefore the body can store water only in the form of fat … But how simple it is: to drink plenty of water and feel itself at times more cheerful and healthier. And, in order to know the minimum amount of water we need to drink every day, we need to divide our own weight by 12. For example, if you weigh 70 kg, divide 70 by 12, it turns out almost 6, which means a minimum dose of water consumption for you – 6 glasses of clean water , not coffee, tea or soda, namely water!
Sunlight
What do you think, what is common between the beauty of nails and teeth, immunity and your mood? All this depends on the amount of vitamin D in the body, and its lack leads to brittle hair, tooth decay, drowsiness and depression. The good news is that we can avoid it or win! Recreation
Constantly tired, hurry, not enough time? “Then stop: you need rest!” We are created so that we constantly need rest, it provides us with strength and energy. If you want to manage everything, first adjust your vital rhythm. God knows our need, therefore from the creation of the world He separated the whole day, Saturday, for rest, communion with God, relatives and friends. This time for thinking about the eternal, analyzing yourself and your life, it fills us and inspires us for the whole working week. Also, do not neglect everyday rest, and remember that sleeping less than 6 and longer than 9 hours does not help rest, but the most useful sleep is from 21 to 24:00. Rest is also a change of activity, alternate mental and physical work and make your life more valuable and more fun.
Abstinence
Do you love freedom? And do you know what it is? – This is the ability to refrain from everything that hurts us, to own our desires. Abstinence is the key that opens the door to a full life, freedom from different dependencies. Alcohol, tobacco smoke, caffeine and drugs are inadmissible in any doses, because these toxic substances adversely affect all the organs and morals of man. Remove the bondage of slavery: keep yourself in hand and feel freedom!
Trust God or stress control
Are you a trusting person? Probably no. In the modern world, this is not fashionable, not always profitable and often dangerous. Many do not trust even their loved ones and friends, afraid to be deceived. Many do not trust anyone at all, afraid of being deceived and losing their position, but instead of all they want, they get only depression and loneliness. But man is created for interaction and trust – this is our need. Trust in God – He never deceives, does not dare, does not quit. He is truly loving and wants to help us, because we are His creation, His children. Trust God and He will guide your life, protect from adversity and support in difficulties. He is the unchangeable Source of Love – He can be trusted!
